Hello, I have tried this with/without abbreviated vs full length UTF-16 of the Unicode string, just the UTF or 16 bits versions. Although, the result is the same when I unzip the.iss data file. The result is: innounp: Unicode strings are not included in the.iss script. Then I tried to run these, double checked innounp 5.6.1 and innounp 0.50. same result. Trying to compile the original.iss file with latest version of Inno Setup, Unicode or not, it runs OK. 9184 868,564 download via Rapidshare Download Download In addition, make sure you have files in the Inno Setup's temporary directory. Any idea?
Unicode is not fully supported in innounp's innoSUPersScript =consist of 2 parts. The first part is a byte level script analyzer used to find out which parts of the script are script and which parts are not script. Script (like in UTF-8) is a sequence of bytes, and those bytes (such as Unicode) are detected and decoded from the byte script analyzer. The script analyzer handles some variations such as UTF-16 which is a 16 bit encoding of Unicode (UCS-2) which supports more variants of Unicode than 8 bit UCS-2 which the UTF-8 is based on, but which, of course, have not yet been integrated into innounp.
Can anyone help me? Keeping getting a blank file response when unpacking the InnoSetup installer file. unpack seems to work fine, though. Am using the innounp utility to handle the unpack process, and using the innosupported command from the SSIS editor, even also from the InnoSetupEditor.
I've located the offending string of code which I believe is causing innounp to not work on BeOS 0.4. A shorter version containing the offending code might be found in the file -inno-setup-5.6.1.zip. (Attached below.) d2c66b5586
